This is a surprisingly good MP3 player. One of the sample songs that came with it had a weird defect so I figured something was wrong with the player, but all of my songs played perfectly. It has a really nice little screen. It's not as good as a touchscreen, but it's a good, sharp display. There are physical buttons at the top of the player that let you do almost everything you can do by touching the screen. I only use real buttons. . I usually press the on-screen play button with my thumb instead of pressing the physical play button with my fingertip, but that's about it. The player comes with a guitar pick, which the company calls a stylus. You can use it with a touchscreen instead of a finger if you like. You can touch the screen or swipe from side to side, but you can't swipe your finger up and down. You must use the + or - buttons. The M button (for menu) is a select button, not a PLAY button as you might expect. When you select a song with the selector or the "m" key, the player just stays there until you press "play". It will never play automatically. The player is connected to a computer with the supplied mini USB cable. (It's not micro-USB like most of my phones.) On Windows, the player and microSD card are given a drive letter. How to copy the songs to the player. No wifi or bluetooth. There's 4 gigabytes of flash memory built in, and I've added a 16 gigabyte microSD card for an additional 14.7 gigabytes of storage. You can delete songs using the player, but you cannot delete an empty folder without connecting the player to a computer. The player seems to think that the folders are listed in chronological order instead of alphabetical order. I don't think you can create a playlist per se, but you can move a bunch of songs into a folder so they can be played together. Unfortunately, you must be connected to your computer to move files this way. The labels for the on-screen button "Playback" are swapped. You should see a horizontal play arrow when the song is paused and a two-line pause icon when the song is playing but the player is doing the opposite. The up and down arrows for setting the date and time are also swapped. The up arrow decreases the value, not increases it. This mistake is surprisingly easy to get used to, and you don't need to use the arrows anyway. You can use the physical + and - buttons. There is a clip to attach the player to the belt. Sometimes I use it to strap the player to something while it's charging so it doesn't fall to the ground at the hands of some clumsy idiot.
