I'm athletic build, usually size 6, I bought a small. It is very comfortable and exceeded all my expectations. The fabric easily conforms to you with no stretch/restriction. I have big biceps/shoulders that sometimes require a larger top, but that's not a problem here. The only thing that can't be flattering is that it shows any bulge on the back or muffin, no matter how minor. This is not a top that will hide the problem. On the other hand, if you're in good shape (regardless of whether you're short or skinny), this top is for you. It's so beautiful, doesn't wrinkle, compact and lightweight. I would definitely buy it again.
