As soon as I took it out of the box I suspected the fiber content. I was looking for a label that didn't have it. That made me even more suspicious. This scarf is not like cotton or linen, both materials are heavier, thicker and have a slightly rougher feel. It was a lot softer. What to expect from a very expensive cotton or linen fabric! However, at this price it can't be cotton or linen. It's a kind of synthetic fiber. I think acrylic because acrylic can be very soft. It's back! I'm looking for a scarf for hot weather. And the only thing hot about this scarf is who I would be if I kept it. Acrylic and plastics do not breathe.
