I installed this on a 32 inch 4K computer monitor. It plugs into a USB-A port and has two simple controls: light level and another for cool or warm light color. It retains the state after USB power has been removed and restored, which is handy - I plugged it into a USB outlet. which turns on and off with my office lights to keep the light on All modern flat panel displays have an anti-glare finish, so this light (and any other similar monitor light bar) can illuminate your work surface and keyboard without sacrificing picture quality. I find that illuminating my work surface with this light reduces eye strain. Your mileage may vary. I placed my webcam on top of the light bar. The only tricky part was balancing the webcam and adjusting the height of the monitor so I wasn't looking directly at the light source. The picture was taken from below my viewing angle. The light itself is of good quality and the style blends well with the frame of my monitor. once installed, it effectively disappears. Highly recommended.
