The plastic "Lazy Susan" component was very stiff and didn't turn the board. I placed it on the card table, and because the table was slightly tilted in the middle, the board wasn't far enough from the table to rotate; The board is only half an inch from the surface/table. I put it on a wooden floor to test it on a flat surface, but when I tried to spin it it still wouldn't spin. I think the plastic components just don't turn very well and the lazy susan needs to be thicker for the board to sit higher. For us it was completely useless. It looked beautiful; but didn't work at all.
