Seems warm for cold walks/outdoors but the size chart told me the size is WAY big. My dog, a 65 lb Shepherd mix, has a large chest so I based the XXL order on that. The collar of the jacket hangs down and constantly slides back on his body, so the slit that the collar should fit into is in the middle of his back. The "chest strap" is so long that it barely has enough velcro to attach it. I wish I had ordered the next size down but I didn't know that based on the size chart and reviews! I will add a piece of velcro on the inside to keep the neck in place. I don't know why there is such a small Velcro fastener at the neck, because the coat is not adjustable at all because of it. If I add that, it becomes a cozy fleece jacket.
