This is literally the perfect duvet cover insert! I bought this to replace an old comforter I was using that had become lumpy after numerous washes. I'm a very cold person, but I also can't sleep when it's too hot. I was intrigued by the great reviews for this product as well as its claim to be 'all year round'. As mentioned in other reviews, it comes in a very tight vacuum packaging which causes it to crumple when first opened. But 30 minutes in a hot dryer can easily smooth out wrinkles. I love the stitching on the box which should prevent the clumping I experienced with my old comforter. It was easy to insert into the duvet cover. I recommend searching YouTube for a method of putting in burrito comforters. You will thank me! Now that my comforter is in place I have a very soft and light comforter for my bed that is both soft and comfortable. Compared to other quilts/interlinings, the price is unbeatable. As far as the statement about all-weather use is concerned, it suits me perfectly. It's light enough that I don't get warm, but heavy enough that my cold nature isn't a problem. I would recommend this item to anyone looking to upgrade their bedding.
