I bought this camera for a trip to Hawaii. I wanted to take it on the boat when we went snorkeling. We got some great shots of kids snorkeling and I got an amazing shot of a spinner dolphin. We also took photos of the kids in the resort pool. It was nice to be able to take my camera and not have to worry about getting splashed or sand filled on the beach. I had no issues with camera leaks. I made sure not to open it to change the battery or copy photos until I was safely back in my hotel room. This camera was filmed while snorkeling from about 10 feet. I was satisfied with the picture quality. I can warmly recommend this camera for carefree holiday use. The kids also had a great time using this camera in the pool to take pictures of each other underwater. The only real downside I had with this camera was that it was almost impossible to see the LCD screen underwater during the day. And since it doesn't have another viewfinder, it was a bit of a stretch to point the camera and hope it captures what I wanted. However, as long as I didn't try to enlarge the subject, all the images came out very well. I think with more practice I'll be able to zoom in too. As a side note, I also ordered the orange floating camera strap. I wanted it to float in case it falls overboard or into the pool. Olympus BELT WAY ORANGE
