After reading so many positive reviews I expected this product to be perfect for my leather bag. At first I was surprised to see that it was a gel and not a lotion like the skin cleanser I used to use. I applied it as directed and did a stain test on the pen first to make sure it wasn't removing the colour. Everything seemed fine so I applied it to the stain on my bag. Some of the black from my bag ended up on the towel (although the stain test worked fine); However, the stain remains on my purse. It didn't help at all and I didn't want to continue using it because it took the color out of my purse. Really disappointed with this product. I don't know why there are so many good reviews.
