Good quality but a little tight

We used this balaclava for our son's Halloween ninja costume. I hope he can wear it this winter but it was quite tight so not sure if it will fit after this year. (Our son is 9 years old). It had a chemical odor which was off-putting when unpacked but faded with washing. He wore it for over an hour on Halloween without complaining!
