I've been looking at wrist braces for a few weeks now so I feel entitled to judge what's out there! There were some great features that I really liked. . The metal support rod was a) removable and b) rounded at the top. It was pretty comfortable for the most part. Cons: First off, velcro straps. Most people I've met have arm swelling from wrist to elbow. I found the bracelet to be significantly longer than necessary. I would like to switch the length from the wrist to the forearm strap because it was too short. In order to attach it, I had to tug at the brace at this point, which prevented the balaclava from doing its job as a Velcro barrier. And finally, the straps themselves. They were the same as another brace I've tried. With this orthosis, the straps stretched significantly in two weeks. The ends were faux leather which resulted in uneven, uncomfortable bumps forming at the most sensitive point of my injury. An additional downside is that the absorbency was pretty poor. The price is great and it was comfortable enough. I would have kept it if it weren't for the straps.
