So to begin with, let me say that I have a matte, paper-like screen protector on my iPad and draw/paint on it. a few times a week. The feel of my screen protector is close to drawing on paper, but not quite, so I bought this hoping to improve it a bit. This completely negated the benefit of my matte screen protector and made it feel like I was just painting on glass, albeit a bit more comfortable and smoother. I removed them immediately as they ruined my previous drawing experience. That being said, it might be a good idea if your iPad doesn't have a matte screen protector. They can also be good when trying to extend the life of your pencil tips, but I can't comment on their durability, they didn't work for me.
