It was easy to put together and works great but it's not suitable for kids lol. My son (age 5) stood on the lid and broke it after just a few weeks. It's similar to those foldable storage boxes from Ikea or Target. It's sturdy enough to sit with the lid closed, but if you have small children I'd look for something sturdier.
