EDIT 8/5/2021 I finally encountered the shutdown issue mentioned in another review. It looks like the headphones don't hold the connection well when the battery dies. Annoying because the whole point is these headphones can last a couple of days on a single charge, but it looks like you'll need to charge them daily when you have a kid like mine that uses them all day. The battery life is closer to 20-25 hours. The only reason I don't remove stars is because they charge very quickly. It really charges up to 80% in 10 minutes. It helps me get through the day with minimal irritation. ORIGINAL REVIEW I bought these for my 2 year old. I tried them on myself and the headphones pop out just far enough to fit an adult head. The sound was fantastic when I listened and they had some noise isolation which I was glad of considering I was going to limit the sound. My daughter put the headphones on herself without any problems, but I didn't. I don't think these headphones are very durable, they are flexible enough to withstand the rough handling of a toddler when taking them off. They definitely won't survive being stepped on or anything. The controls are simple enough for my child to understand and use. I guess on/off is a switch my daughter understands better than having to hold down a button to turn on the headphones. There is a dedicated backlight button. The ear pads are easy to put on and take off. My daughter loves them and I hope to have more plates in the future. The battery life is fantastic. I haven't tested the 40 hour claim but they last all day on a single charge. The pairing process was easy, as was setting the maximum volume. The instructions don't tell you how to pair with multiple devices, only how to clear the list. I suspect you do this by making sure no other device can connect and then waiting for the device to enter pairing mode. It's far from perfect, but I only connect them to one device, so far so good.
