Review on Piggy Paint - Girls Nail Polish: 100% Non-toxic, Safe, Chemical-Free, Low Odor for Kids (Radioactive) by Kim Navarro

Striped strawberry (sometimes sweet)

Granted, that's a faint smell. It actually smells (and stays) like acrylic paint, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, especially when compared to regular polish. However, it remains very streaky and much brighter than expected. I wanted a nice rich red color but instead it came out a little lighter (like a strawberry color for young girls). Part of that may be because it's technically a daughter line of Sophi. The biggest problem is that it's striped. A typical paint (in my experience) is applied in 2 coats, not counting the top coat. It lasts 3 or 4 and dries very slowly. Streaking and slow drying also make it difficult to apply the top coat. They can either ruin the color or draw attention to some streaks. It stains your nails a bit when removed, like almost every red nail polish I've used. It's not that hard to remove with regular nail polish remover, about what you would expect from nail polish. All in all, this is a decent polish, especially if you want to paint your kid's nails and don't want to use a regular polish. Note. long drying time and the possibility of roasting. Personally I think I'll return it and try the adult Sophie Red.
