I ordered a 2 piece set for $88.00. It arrives well packaged in organized size pieces. I'm 60 years old and although I try many projects, I'm not a qualified DIY enthusiast. I opened the box and felt a bit intimidated, but then I went back to the Amazon listing for this product and re-read the reviews and looked at the promotional photos. There are no instructions in the box, but once you get started all you have to do is twist the threaded tubes together. The hardest part for me was finding the right size. I measured the wall; I split it in half and from the halfway mark I measured immediately to the left and then to the right of the mark so I knew where I was going to place it. You decide how far or close the pipe ends should be in your room. At this point, simply screw the tube covers to the ceiling and wall and twist the tubes together. I screwed the tubes in small increments to make it easier for me to screw them into the wall and ceiling. Take a pencil and mark the wall to make it easier. I measured tube to tube and added a little overhang so I needed a board 5 feet long and my choice of board width was 8 inches. I could choose 10 inches wide. I went to Home Depot and bought a pine board. They carved it out of wood for me for less than $20. I came home and gave him a quick seat. For me it took about 1 1/2 hours plus a trip to the Home Depot. I only used 2 shelves because I felt my space was being overwhelmed. This is the perfect modern lockdown top on a budget. I did it myself, without outside help.
