They were perfect for my 8 year old daughter's salsa practice. They seem to be good quality, fit as expected, I love that she didn't actually have to zip them up, it was quicker and easier for her to put them on, especially at shows where quick changes can (and did) happen. . I had to be able to attach them quickly. However, after only 3.5 months of use (once a week plus 4 winter appearances - maybe 15-20 releases total) one of the buckles recently snapped during training which is disappointing. Up to this point they were perfect.
