These sit comfortably on the body. Tried them for the first time today. I hardly noticed them when I walked with them. I don't know exactly how long it lasts on a charge, but I had it on for at least an hour and a half. Bright enough for cars to see me even tonight when it was a bit foggy. The only downside is that the Velcro straps aren't very strong. So if you are a strong runner, they may come off while running. This means they may not be as safe when running cross country, but I've only used them for road.
