I use this to pierce 4 layers of 200w liner and a premium glossy business card to brand my product. The needle is thicker than what I've had in the past so it's harder to push through initially, but it's worth it as it's reliable, smooth, and strong. I threw all my old ones straight in the trash as soon as I realized how much better they are and was glad they came in 2 packs! The only thing that isn't perfect is that the needle is also longer, it doesn't work with the shorter 1 inch balls which I prefer and the description said it works with all. The ones that came with the kit are good so I don't mind trading. General . very glad i found it!
