Review on Tadpoles Organics Brushed Cotton Fitted by Nicole Griego

I was delighted to find organic flannel bedding for our baby boy due in December. I bought them a few months ago and finally found the time to wash them. They looked crappy right out of the box. The fabric wasn't soft, it felt quite rough and the weave was loose - not high enough for a quality sheet. But I thought maybe after washing they would puff up and tighten up a bit. Not correct. They became fluffy and even rougher after the first wash. I'm contemplating what to do with these sheets - I'm not sure I'll even want to use them and I can't return them! I also noticed the awful smell people were talking about. It didn't bother me and I didn't notice it even after washing the sheets. I think it has more to do with the plastic packaging than the sheets themselves, but who knows. For me the quality of the material is a deal breaker with these sheets, the smell is just a bad stain.
