Contrary to many customer photos, the detachable spool tray in the case I received looks exactly like the picture for storing spools in pairs. . There is room under the spool holder for extra dividers if you don't use them all. Most of my spools of thread didn't fit; They were too big for the space provided, so I keep my thread separate - the box suffers from not being able to remove longer delimiters, but I was still able to keep most of what I wanted to keep. It didn't fit standard size sewing scissors but I had smaller ones so it was fine. I tried, to fit my little tomato pincushion; but it didn't fit on the side either.
