Review on Revlon Romantic Balm Stain: Enhance Your Look with Long-lasting Color by Belinda Rivas

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not quite "smudged " yet, my new choice for lipstick, check the colors before you buy.

I bought six Revlon Balm Stains. I was looking for a good liquid paint that wouldn't flake or dry out. But I haven't found a good one in a few years. I thought I'd let her go. I wouldn't call them a stain. However, they last MUCH longer than the matte balm that Revlon makes (looks incredibly similar and some of the same colors, but the matte balm doesn't last an hour on regular water swallows). Since they're not what anyone would consider a blot, I'd happily give them 3 stars; but I'm adding a star because I have a favorite color and I think I can live with that as my new lip color. You go on gently and you can feel a slight tingling of mint oil on your lips. They don't dry out my lips. You need 2-3 applications per working day, but it is enough for a small amount of ordinary drinking water and chewing gum. You won't survive a kiss or a meal. Even if you don't like 1980s pink lips, don't go for Sweetheart/Valentine! It's so bright! My favorite color is Adore. I thought Hani would like me the most, but not like that. Here are the colors I bought and my thoughts. I also included an image. I have light/pink skin (I wear a fairly light nude mineral foundation in winter and a fairly medium mineral foundation in summer) with dark brown hair and honey brown eyes for reference. Honey: Nearly neutral in color but with a purple-pink hue. reminds me of dusty rosé or briar pink Adore: some golden and brown undertones. not as dark as in some photos. very good color for my light skin and dark hair. suitable for every day, also for work. Charm: Fairly light with lots of peachy undertones. good for the "naked" look on my skin. works well when mixed with another color (I liked it best with romantic blends) Rendezvous: Looks like orange chalk but looks like dark coral. Surprisingly pleasant, but maybe too much. Romantic: A balanced red - not too purple, not too brown. fades to a very pretty pink to red. good for dating. Sweetheart: A bright pink from the 1980s. Everyone will notice those lips. my least favorite color, despite many compliments from men in my age group (mid-30s). Incredibly misleading company photos on this color.
