When viewed with a slow motion camera (or even in slow motion on your phone's camera) these ads flicker very noticeably. The effect is even visible when looking at moving objects in a room lit by these lights. I have not added a video demonstrating this as my previous review which included the video was removed, presumably due to epilepsy concerns. The problem here is that the DC output of this unit's AC->DC rectifier is not smoothed, meaning the lights will flicker at 60Hz as they are not powered continuously. In the attached picture you can even see where the smoothing capacitor (and corresponding blowdown resistor or depletion MOSFET) should go (circled in blue) and I have solved this flickering problem on all 12 lamps I ordered by replacing the appropriate capacitor and blowdown resistor got installed via these two points. They could have fixed the problem at the factory, but they didn't. However, they still claim that these lights do not flicker, which is blatant false advertising given the state they arrived to me in, with no dithering or flicker protection circuitry installed. And for this reason you should not buy these lamps.
