Easy to install. Everything you need is included. You can change the direction of the screen, left or right, or up and down. You can rotate the monitor to portrait. However, if you want to move it closer or farther, or especially change the height, you'll have to loosen, move, and then tighten the screws again to get the same range of motion. It's doable by one person, but it's a pain. If you want to move it closer or farther, up and down without loosening the screws, you'll have to get Ergotron or something like that at twice the price. But in my experience with these coasters, I usually find a perfect position and then rarely move it. If you want to position your monitor in one spot, especially if that spot is high above your desk, on top of another monitor (a 40 inch monitor in my case) and tilt it down a bit, then this is the perfect stand for the weight of your monitor is below the weight limit of the stand. It's pretty stable with my monitor just under the weight limit.
