. So at first I just bought this case so I could protect my iPad for a few days before buying anything else. But I haven't had to buy another case yet because this one is so great! This is a great case for the price. It protects the edges and the magnets hold securely. If it's closed, it stays closed. I had no problems with the stand. Some people have complained that auto-brightness works in this case, but it definitely works in my case. To be honest I really like this case for what I use it for. I can buy a spare Otterbox when I take it to college so it fits better in my book bag and stays more secure. However, for the home, this cover is just great! This is a really solid case and I've dropped my iPad on the carpet multiple times with no issues! It covers corners really well and gives you access to all ports. I really like this case and don't see a need for an Otterbox any time soon.
