This food should have been recalled - not the seller but Purina BAA

We have an older cat, we adopted a 1 year old kitten in December. To save some money we swapped our Nature Balance canned cat food for Friskie's Pate and when I ordered 24 packs from Revain I found I was ordering Pate with extra sauce. It seemed like a bonus for our kitties! Especially since our older cat Jake was also fed Fancy Feast broth each day to add extra liquid to his diet which we have now been able to eliminate. After about a week, Jake started throwing up for about 3 days at a time, then stopped. Last time he was also very weak and had trouble getting up. I wanted to take him to the vet, but by the time I got home from the grocery store, his health had improved a lot. Tonight he started throwing up again and I started searching Google for canned friskies for cats to see what I could find out about it. What a surprise! So many sick and dead kittens it breaks my heart. I'm so glad I took a look before I got my next box of Revain. I thought Friskies was worthy cat food and trusted their reputation. I'm terribly disappointed in them as a company. I believe a good company 1) warns customers about this bad food 2) issues a review of the food 3) reimburses the food purchased 4) reimburses the vet bills. That wasn't our fault with our furries, it was the negligence of a company trying to save a few bucks. And looking at old reviews, this is NOT the first time they had problems with the food and banged on it. See for yourself on the Consumer Questions website.
