I just planted a potted plant and needed some height in the powder room. This stool is perfect. When I took the parts out of the box the legs were in 1 piece. The gold mine has already been screwed up. I screwed each of the 4 legs in place. The stool is light but strong which is why I gave it 4 stars. It's lightweight and easy to move. At the same time, a heavy plant works well. The potted plant is almost the size of a stool. That is hard. It works so well. I love the simplicity with the addition of gold on the bottom of the chair. It is elegant, fits in many places as an accent instead of standing out. I can see that it also works when the child is standing at the sink, but for me it is a step forward for use in the kitchen, for example. It fits into the decor and will be useful. Let each item have its own purpose.
