$80 Heavy Duty Two Burner Stove

Good two burner propane stove. I'm perfectly happy with it and it's way better than anything under or near the $100 mark. (It was about $80 with shipping + tax) Build Quality: The top is made of some kind of glass-like material. This makes cleaning easier. The rest of the structure is stainless steel, and the burner material looks like it's made of some sort of cast iron. Overall, the build quality is above my expectations. Burner: has an inner ring and a club ring. Its management is easy. In a "weak" fire, only the inner burner burns. I can't control the internal heat with much finesse, but its heat output is practically minimal. At low to medium heating, the outer rings turn on. You can control the power of the outer ring from low to medium to nuclear. I'm happy with that. Either way, most of my cooking will be low-medium. I would say overall flame/heat control is average. But given that this stove is $80, I don't expect it to have the level of flame control/delicacy of a premium $2000 stove. So for $80 I am very pleased with this stove's ability to control the flame. Cons: It has a built-in auto igniter. It sucks. I had better luck with the tinder than with this detonator. It will [POSSIBLE] ignite the flame by itself 1/10 times even if I let the gas out a bit before lighting it. never mind I can only use a lighter. Maybe it needs to be broken in before it works properly? I will update when it improves. Other Thoughts: I bought this stove because my current stove is an induction stove. And anyone who cooks knows induction sucks. Although it says "outdoor use only", I will still use it indoors (which is fine as long as you have good ventilation). Also, I'd rather die from this doomsday coronavirus than breathe the fumes of burned propane gas. YOLO.

Pros
  • Great Construction
Cons
  • Crumpled Packaging
