Feels like I'm in a luxury 5 star middle east hotel where you get a nice cold blanket. Ceiling! Life in Hawaii is very hot and muggy most of the year. Even though it's hot, I still prefer the feel of a blanket that I can press against a thin sheet. I bought a set of cooling pillowcases like this last year because my husband's head sweats a lot when he sleeps and we love them. I didn't know this cooling blanket existed, otherwise I would have bought it sooner! Came and I won't even lie I didn't wash it before using it during my sleep...(I washed it after sleep so I could use it that night) it was so soft, silky and comfortable that I couldn't resist before just using it. One side is silky, the other feels like cotton. It's about half the thickness of a comforter and ten times the thickness of a sheet, so I'd say it's somewhere in between. I don't know how it cools but it is! I never get hot using this, at night we use Ac around our house when it gets too cold, this blanket still keeps me at a comfortable temperature. I can't say if it will work in the top 48 states in the winter, but I think it will be possible in the mainland in the spring, summer, and fall! Hawaii is great! I've had this blanket for almost 2 months now and it's the only blanket I'll ever use! I have two options to choose from to suit my desired feeling and temperature. The quality is nice, comfortable and good...all the stitching is well done and tight. About the size of a full sized bed, big enough for my 5'6" height! It's lightweight and not bulky, handles washing and drying well. I've washed and dried it several times and it always came out as is it came in. I am very happy with this blanket, I have no complaints or problems, I think it was worth it and I will buy another one in the future, for now I think that quality wise this blanket will last a long time!
