I slept on it for 2 nights and was NOT disappointed. A little background - I was in a very bad car accident about 30 years ago and have had to sleep on a neck pillow ever since. I've lost count of how many I bought, most were fine, some were too stiff or didn't have enough support. Or were fine for a few months and then sank in the middle and required a new purchase. But it was something I MUST have or I would wake up with a headache if I slept on a plain pillow with no neck support. Now that I just got it I don't know how it will hold up but I will update my review in about 6 months to let you know. But so far it's great! Neither too hard nor too soft for me. Everyone has their own "ideal" support, this one is perfect for me. It came with a molded pillowcase with tiny blue rosebuds on it, I didn't care about the pattern but it's not "loud" and won't clash with your bedding. As long as I have the support and comfort I need I don't care and this is the best neck pillow I have ever slept on. I am more than happy with the pillow and the price - I paid more for less. If you have neck problems I think your chances of being comfortable with this pillow are very high. Oh and forgot to say I sleep on my side, I had rotator cuff surgery 6 months ago and was having a hard time getting onto my side, this pillow helped a lot. I can sleep on this side again with very little pain in my shoulder. Needless to say he gets 5 stars from me and I'm thrilled with him. Hope this helps you with your decision.
