After ordering a black digital watch that only came with a vinyl strap I wanted to upgrade to a black stainless steel watch. This seemed reasonable for the price. I measured the spring bar spacing and found it to be 21mm, so I ordered a 21mm strap. It arrived at 21mm but was actually 20mm. However, the spring bars that came with it were the same length as the old ones, so I installed them. The gap is 1mm, but holds. The bent ends were the wrong radius so I didn't use them. I had to remove two links to fit my wrist - the strap comes with a tool and instructions on how to do it. It was difficult but easy. I've been wearing it for a week and so far so good.
