Review on SKB Cases 3i-2011-7DL iSeries Airline Approved Case: Organize Your Gear with Think Tank Designed Photo Dividers and Lid Organizer by Jodi Johnson

After repairing several cameras/lenses from regional baggage handlers, I purchased an SKB iSeries case with ThinkTank inserts. Having owned other ThinkTank bags, I knew how durable this product was likely to be, but they didn't meet the needs of professional shooters who travel extensively. The housing/insert is too small to accommodate cameras with battery grips and ensure a proper seal. In addition, the wheelbase is very narrow, making the case extremely foldable and difficult to manoeuvre. Finally, the retractable handle is quite short, making it difficult to use with a long backpack or briefcase. SKB needs to rethink its design.
