The softbox is well made and basically worth its price. Be prepared to attach a diffuser such as a fabric to diffuse and soften the light inside the box. I ordered 2 of these softboxes and neither of them came with a baffle. The description doesn't say it is, but that's the whole point of a softbox, isn't it? They approved by not including one. This item could have been a good buy, not just a good one. Apparently some customers get a deflector, but consider themselves lucky! Just don't expect to get it and you won't be disappointed when yours arrives. That issue aside, the box is worth buying and creates a nice soft light with the added Stofen diffuser on the flash. Maybe even better than using a bezel as it helps distribute the light to all sides of the flash inside the box. Note that smaller flashes like the SB600 cannot be properly mounted. The knob on the adjustment screw does not allow the flash head to be mounted flush or inside the speed ring. Shedding can be a problem. I find it odd that the softbox is listed as working with the SB600 but doesn't account for the larger SB900 which actually fits right in. By the way, I bought these softboxes to use on a glowstick. If you're buying for the same reason, I recommend the Wooster Sherlock 4-8ft Adjustable Paint Rod and Kacey Rod Adapter.
