Oh my god! Unless you want microscopic glitter all over the place, don't take it out of the box! But apart from that it was great. I cut it to make 3 accent sliders to place on the black cupcake display tablecloth. It was our company's Christmas Star Party and the pattern was great. In the end, since the price was reasonable and I hated the shine, I gave 3 runners to a colleague. She can enjoy glitter. I think it's really purely a decorative item - I don't think you could wipe it off or it's very absorbent.
