I have quite a few Manfrotto clamps and I bought four of them because they seemed quite similar. But the devil is in the details. - The Manfrotto attachment handle will not hit other items including the second handle when you use them to connect two pipes because the Manfrotto handle is shorter. - The small counter wing nut can also not work properly when you use these clips because they bump into each other. - Either the spring that pushes the clip out or the friction on the moving part of the clip is not the same because I have to open the mouth of the clip manually while on the Manfrotto it moves as expected every time, reliable. Time. - The Manfrotto screw has a hex key on one side. So if you absolutely must not turn one side, Manfrotto will allow you to, but not this one as the bolt is round on both sides. I ended up saving a few bucks, but it annoys me every time I use it. I will buy a few more Manfrotto clamps.
