I bought so many speakers for my office. I just hate plugging in my iPhone when I get to the office. I want the podcast I'm listening to just switch to my office speakers when I arrive. And that's exactly what happens. I need to turn on the speaker first. At this point, my iPhone assumes the speaker is my choice as long as I leave BlueTooth enabled in the iPhone's general settings. Now I'm seriously considering buying a second one for the house. I'm becoming something of a BOSE fan. I have a lot of their gear now. If you're a teenager looking for a really loud speaker, this might not be for you. I don't turn on music in the office. I listen to some music and the office is at an acceptable level. I mostly listen to podcasts on the way to work and I would prefer to finish listening to them when I go to the office. And I don't want to connect my phone to anything. I just want a speaker to replace my headphones. It does. I wish it had a remote control. I can change the volume from my phone, but the screen goes into splash mode and it takes a few swipes. Sometimes I would like the remote to be muted so I can quickly mute it when a call comes in. I can double tap the iPhone, bring up the player's quick controls and pause it. Not that bad. I would give a solid 4/5 stars.
