I was looking for another fleece self-warming pad for my cats to put on the Adirondack chairs in the backyard, that they love to lounge on. It keeps them warm in the winter, when they go outside for air & what not. However, the fleece one was out, so I purchased this one. To me the velour doesn't feel as soft or comfortable. But to my cat, it is his preferred pad. When given the choice he chooses this pad over the fleece pad I have on the other chair. When I bring the pads in after they have been out and place them on the tile floor, he still prefers to sit on this pad over the fleece one.So, that's the verdict. Cat approved.
