Review on 🎧 Sony MDR-ZX310 R Foldable Headphones - Metallic Red by Ricky Habbani

Apparently the previous product picture confused some because it no longer has a picture with built-in microphone. This product is indeed a Sony ZX310 (no built-in microphone or controls). A model with a built-in microphone is a model with the suffix "AP". If you just want headphones with no extra frills, then this is for you. If you want a built-in microphone, you don't need them. Now that that's out of the way, I grudgingly admit I'm a bit of an audiophile, which is a shame when you're considering sub-$30 headphones. However, given the price, I am very pleased with the sound. I've recently been showing off every pair I could get my hands on while looking for a pair for the gym. A pair that wouldn't have broken my heart if they hadn't made it through training. I've even paired them with the hugely popular Beats headphones. I have to be honest, I really don't understand why people buy Beats. It was the first pair I wore that day, and judging by the popularity and price, I was expecting a decent sound. They were a complete disappointment. The only reason I could understand the Beats being so expensive was that they had to pay Kaepernick and everyone else for their promotion (more money spent on promotion equals a higher price on a lower quality component for the consumer), and it fared poorly. This pair of headphones (zx310s) outperformed bits that cost five times as much. I was so surprised by this that I gave my wife a chance to listen to both and, without giving a price, asked her which sounded better and she also gave Sony a wide berth to quote. This review isn't meant to mock the Beats, but I think it serves to show that these headphones can outperform a pair that cost five times the price. I listened to many headphones that day and in the end I settled on these and they sounded so good even music lovers would find it shameful to comment on them. Kits available at this price. To be fair they sacrifice bass density and clarity which means they come across as a bit muddy or sloppy to the tuned ear, but for a $30 pair that's not even a fair criticism, just love for the sound. Speaking of. If that's your price range, stop thinking, buy it now and thank me later.
