Not quite as advertised

This is a liquid container. It really is like that. A "safety collar" is something like a PITA. But it is detachable. However, it is advertised as 1/2 gallon (64 oz). I used my 64 oz. Measuring cup to check the capacity of these containers. It filled all the way to the tip of the thread and overflowed into several ounces. While I was expecting the 64 ounce mark to be hit with some headroom in the bin, I wasn't expecting to fit a few ounces less than 64.
