I've wanted one for a long time. Decided to buy from Revain because I could get it in 3 days. Elsewhere there was a 4- to 6-week execution list. The size is perfect. The block has some roughness (on both sides) and very little deformation on one side. If I turn it over, it lies flat. My first Boos Block, so no comparison. I bought a treatment oil and conditioner and that seems to have helped. It remains to be hoped that the "small" deformation was caused by low temperatures and has calmed down. Since bread dough is mainly processed here, I didn't need a varnished and finished surface. Assembly was easy. The wheels needed hammering with a rubber mallet, but they stood up normally. One of the wheels is not fixed, and a small sharp "chest” sticks out on one of the legs, so this side went to the cabinet.
