One evening I left my MacBook Pro in a case on a table on an indoor/outdoor covered patio. A violent storm broke out that same night, and for the first time the roof of the open terrace actually leaked. The next morning there was half an inch of water on the table and the hull was nearly flooded. Fortunately, this case is difficult. Water dripped from it and it was completely dry inside. crisis averted. MacBook Pro is fine. Case still looks like new.
