This review refers to "Bluetooth Power Amplifier, ARCHEER 2 x 45W Mini". This is a good no frills mini amp. It reproduces the sound well, with many features for its price. It has a few features but nothing special. I like the little metal look of the amp. It has thick rubber feet and is discreet enough to place anywhere. The device has a colored LED display that shows which mode is currently active (e.g. LINE, BLUE, RADIO, etc.). . You can change the modes with the mini remote control or the button on the front of the device. Every time you turn on the mini-amp or switch modes, you'll hear a pre-recorded voice of a Chinese woman. Like other Chinese Bluetooth devices sold at Revain, it says things like "Bluetooth mode connected!", "Line mode!", "Radio mode!". through the speakers. The amp makes no noise when it's on, but makes a faint click when it's off. It's easy to connect using Bluetooth mode and the line-in works as expected. Radio mode works by pressing the auto seek button on the remote control or front panel, or by manually entering the desired station with the mini remote control. The mini remote also controls volume, USB song navigation, and volume settings. When the volume is changed, the LED display will show a number from 0.00 to 0.30. It's about the volume control. The volume set on the front panel is never exceeded. There's an EQ button on the remote that cycles through five different preset or custom EQ modes, but without instructions I'm yet to figure out how it works. One of the features of the device is that it always turns on. Standard Bluetooth mode. I suspect this is a design choice meant to support the most popular audio connections currently available, but if you're using a different standard source you'll have to cycle through modes every time you turn on the amp. The mini amp has two ways to connect power. You can use your own DC power adapter with a DC jack on the back, or use the included power cord that is permanently attached to the receiver. Unfortunately, the cable's metal pins are too loose in the socket. The slightest hit will loosen the cable. It's kind of a shame (a reminder of the build quality) because the rest of the amp works great. I would recommend bringing your own power cord (for safety reasons alone). In my case, I decided to replace the power cord with a suitable one and opened up the mini amp. Looking inside, I saw two empty jacks labeled "R-OUT" and "L-OUT". For further testing, they can be plugged into the RCA jacks for audio output, but their use disables the speaker mount connectors. Despite its quirks, I really like this device. For the price it meets my expectations and can't complain. It offers a lot of features for its low price (at least when I bought it). As long as you provide your own power cord, you will be satisfied.
