First I have the Canon t3i, an amazing camera. There are days when I don't want to lug this giant thing around, but I still need a powerful mini DSLR camera (better than my Sony P&S) to take great pictures on occasion. But I didn't want to spend more than $300 (I'm definitely not rich), so after looking at a few compact system cameras, I settled on this one. Got this for a great price (with credit in my account) and it's pink! I haven't been able to watch it as much as I would like thanks to the classes and work (ugh), but the pictures I took are great. The quality is nice, crisp and clear. This camera also has a lot of cool built-in effects and settings. This is easy to understand during the day. It holds a charge well, but as with any camera, you should always have a spare battery on hand. The touchscreen is weird to me as I've never had a touchscreen camera before. I prefer the good old buttons, even if the screen is a bit smaller as a result. It takes some time to get used to. I can't say anything about the wifi/telephone connection as I don't need it. Maybe one day I'll try. Pairing it with Lightroom software is a great idea. Unfortunately, I already had Adobe's monthly payments for all of their programs and my laptop doesn't have a CD drive. But it's a great marketing tactic. So far this has been a great little camera and I would recommend it if you're looking to use a smaller camera rather than carrying those dlsr around. I wouldn't replace my dlsr with it, but I would definitely use it if dlsr adds too much bulk.
