I didn't know it existed but now that I found it I'm very, very happy. They're affordable, easy to use, and solved a big problem for me. In short, I live on a golf course and made the wrong decision to install solar panels on my roof. The seller assured me that they are very strong and should not be damaged if hit by a stray golf ball. In the end he was wrong and the company refused to guarantee them. It was a really bad $30,000 investment on my part as replacement records are now $700 each and I have 25 of them. The company didn't help, so I ended up making 25 PVC and fowl wire screens. They seem to work well and don't seem to have had a significant impact on the effectiveness of the panels. Unfortunately, using nylon ties as part of my build was a mistake. In less than a year they became brittle and began to fall off en masse. I am in the process of restoring all 25 panels using 1250 of these beautiful stainless steel zip ties and I expect this will be the last time I have to climb onto the roof. At 75 I can no longer climb onto the roof. Luckily I have a young, fearless neighbor who is only 67 years old and has volunteered to help me.
