I wouldn't have bought them if I knew they 'feel' no movement unless it's completely dark. This makes them useless for applications such as a closet or in our case in our pantries. The purpose of their use was to illuminate the darker interior of the room (pantry, closet, etc.) for better viewing. was so pleased with their performance that I wanted the same pantry lights. Unfortunately these are no longer available. I thought it was basically the same type of light. It is described as being activated by motion. Our pantries are off the kitchen, down a hallway I would never leave in the dark. However, that seems to be the only way these lights work. The lights themselves appear to be well made and put out a good amount of light etc for their size. They're just pointless and useless for our particular situation. Make sure you know what you're getting and make sure it matches where you intend to use them as they won't help if you're looking for a way to increase visibility in a closet, pantry, etc. to improve.
