Poor Quality Materials - Rubber degrades faster than you might think.
I'm on my third set of these Oakley prescription rubber eyeglass cases. I live in Florida and bask in the sun a lot. The problem is that the rubber is degrading faster than expected and feels very sticky, which means it's time to replace it. However, I'm grateful that Oakley continues to supply them for older frames like mine.
