Review on Gamepad Razer Wolverine V2 Chroma, white by Adam Szczelewski ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A good balance of price/quality, recommend it.

This is my first expensive gamepad. For a long time I searched, chose, watched different videos, so as not to be mistaken. Before that, there were Dexp, PS3, Xbox360 gamepads (not original). The longest lived Dexp. 2+ years (I broke it myself in a fit of anger, I'm not proud of it). The Xbox broke in less than a month, the rear RT / LT drove off, then the left stick and in the end the wire just fell off. I bought a gamepad for my DR in April. at a price of 16K (it's a shame now to see that the price "slightly" fell). Pleases, only that I used . split. In principle, the purchase is satisfied. And yes, 2 year warranty after all. I wanted to add a video about all the disadvantages described above, but I don’t know how.

Pros
  • The sound of the buttons is really pleasant, and the tactile sensation is on top. Feels like you're pressing a mouse. The previous gamepad creaked heavily when twisted (twisting in the literal sense). There is no such thing behind this gamepad, there is a quality assembly. The plastic doesn't smell. Basically, it is odorless. Removable sticks, different heights. On the left set a semicircle. I didn’t like others (I play a certain game, so sunken ones are not suitable). Vibration is not uniform. Feels consistent with the actions in the game. Wired. The cable is long, with a winding. Because I use it only on a PC, I specifically chose a wired one.
Cons
  • 1) The problem with the right stick, namely, when pressed, there is no characteristic click, as on other buttons. You need to press at a certain angle, but still the feeling that "slips". In view of the fact that by default I do not like to put pressure on the sticks, I reassigned them to the rear add. buttons. And even when rotating in a circle, a metallic crackle and slight resistance are heard (as if it is clinging to something). The left stick works smoothly and is pressed as expected. 2) Problem / defect with both sticks. When tilted all the way, the stick hits the body, which is very annoying. 3) Very bright connection indicator (I had to stick a piece of paper). 4) The Razer Controller Setup software is slightly buggy. Sometimes you arrange the buttons, and the software freezes and does not save. Renaming a profile doesn't always work. It is important that while the icon is spinning in the upper right corner, the software does not exit, otherwise all settings will be lost.
