Let me start by saying I'm not a snob. I have never used fancy 10,000 thread count Egyptian reeds before. I'm more of an ordinary guy who likes beautiful things. I was gifted these sheets for my honest evaluation (and you will know my honest opinion). So. First, these sheets are SOFT. I mean noticeably soft! As you run your hands over it, there's a lingering softness that hugs your hands in a good way. When you look at the packaging it's clear why - these sheets use polyester microfiber! I have never had such luxurious sheets! I think expensive sheets will have that feel, but these are worksheets! At worker prices! So that's a big plus. Another thing I love about these sheets is that they are very deep. So they'll easily fit if your bed is deeper than most. I have had trouble making a bed in the past where the sheet was not deep enough and as a result the sheets never fitted properly. I hate that! But not with that! They have very deep pockets that are easy to make your bed in and I had no problems here. That's a big plus too. The manufacturer claims that the polyester "locks in heat" so you don't get hot and I can't say I've noticed much of a difference. You felt really comfortable. The only downside here is that these 100% polyester sheets don't breathe like cotton sheets. I haven't had any issues with this after using them for a few weeks, but some may want to consider switching to cotton or a cotton blend if that's an issue. Be sure to wash them in cold water and tumble dry low. Overall, these are the nicest "cheap" sheets I've ever had and I really enjoy climbing into bed each night and feeling the softness and tenderness they offer.
