saw these things and had to bite.waterproof plastic. I liked the first six so much that I bought a second set! Pros: As I mentioned, plastic isn't 100% waterproof, but it *should* keep you dry in light rain/snow and keep the ground clear of debris. , as opposed to a milk crate. They zip up at the top so they are fully closed. Cons: They are not as durable as milk crates. It's practically the same as blankets or sheets packed in a department store (maybe someone had this idea - big blanket bags can hold more records, but I bet when full the pins won't hold, so lots of weight and ripped off ). The handle stitching is strong but you shouldn't be too rough or it will snap with enough force - just limit it to a full load of records and the bag will be fine. My only concern is that they should be cheaper, but yeah.
