Bright. Easy to use. Looks great on burlap!
Colors are vibrant and easy to use. I've only used them for burlap stockings. To make the colors more vibrant than the brown of the burlap stockings, I usually applied two coats, especially on lighter colors like silver, gold, and yellow. I've found that if you put too much water on the brush (usually to wash off one color before changing to another) it will bleed (see the pic of the stocking with the gingerbread man - he's bleeding from the head). I'm not sure if bleeding is the right terminology as I'm not an artist at all.
